There’s an update on a transport truck that caught on fire on Highway 401 through Milton.
Reports were made that detailed a truck fire on the local freeway. More details have been issued.
The fire happened Eastbound on the 401, between the Highway 25 and James Snow Parkway off-ramps. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sgt. Kerry Schmidt tweeted out a video that describes the scene. “We had a transport truck lose its trailer axles here because of a fire,” he says. “Looks like we have a failure here, likely maybe one of the bearings blew up. Anyways, it lit a fire. It burned out the axle up on the trailer.”
The truck was carrying whey protein, used for building muscle through exercising.
“All those bodybuilders out there that are looking for some protein, there’s a whole pile of it here,” he adds in the video. “I’m not making any milkshakes, but it is causing major delays.”
