The investigation into a conflict that left two police officers and a 23-year-old man dead is continuing.
The Innisfil resident killed when gunfire erupted Tuesday night has been identified as Chris Doncaster, a former Canadian Armed Forces member.
The Department of National Defence has indicated Doncaster previously held the rank of private but did not complete basic training.
The police officers were identified as 33-year-old Constable Devon Northrup and 54-year-old Constable Morgan Russell, both members of the South Simcoe Police Service.
