Will the Milton Menace continue their hot start to the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) season?
The local team heads to Pickering on Friday, October 14th to take on the Panthers at the Pickering Recreation Complex.
The teams have played once already this season. That was on Tuesday, September 20th at the Cobourg Community Centre as part of the OJHL Governors Showcase. The Menace beat the Panthers 5-3 on the back of two three-point performances from Owen Forester and Aidan Hughes.
Menace fans might remember that Pickering is the team that beat Milton in the OJHL North/West Conference Finals in the spring. It was a 3-0 series sweep.
The Milton Menace are 10-0-0-1 through 11 games. They have 21 points, which puts them solely in first place in the North/West Conference now that the Collingwood Blues have lost a game. They are also in second place in the entire Ontario Junior Hockey League, behind the 13-1-0-0 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Here’s how the Menace skaters are shaping up after 11 games:
