The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DBIA) is hosting its 2022 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 28th.
Attendees will be able to take part in the following schedule:
- 6:00 p.m. – Registration & Networking
- 6:30 p.m. – Annual General Meeting
- Join us at our AGM to connect with BIA members, hear highlights from 2022 and find out what’s in store for the year ahead. Plus, there will be a special presentation by Halton Regional Police on graffiti/tagging prevention. Light refreshments will be available.
- 7:00 p.m. – Public meeting with municipal candidates
- 8:00 p.m. – Event wraps up
This will be the first in-person gathering for candidates for Ward 1 leading up to the municipal election.
Regional Councillor for Ward 1 Colin Best has already been acclaimed into another term due to a lack of competition. Read more about that here.
Residents will be able to speak with incumbent Town Councillor for Ward 1, Kristina Tesser Derksen, as she seeks re-election. She will be joined by her competition in this election, George Minakakis.
