Double cupping that “Double Double” is going to cost coffee connoisseur more.
Tim Horton’s started offering customers cardboard sleeves as an added layer of insulation for hot drinks almost two years ago.
Some coffee and tea drinkers still ask to double-up on the cups though.
The coffee giant recently announced a charge of 10-cents plus tax, if you decline the sleeve and insist on the second cup.
The sleeves were introduced to eliminate the use of more than 200 million cups per year.
They are made of 100 percent recycled materials and are 100 per cent recyclable.
