
The Halton Police is looking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a motorcycle who failed to stop for police.
On Wednesday, August 10th, a Halton Regional Police officer was conducting proactive patrols in the Millcroft area of Burlington, as a result of recent traffic complaints.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., a motorcycle was observed speeding, weaving back and forth and not stopping at a stop sign in the area of Sarazen Drive and Couples Crescent.
The officer attempted to stop the motorcycle however the driver sped off at a high rate of speed and fled the area.
The motorcycle is described as a black sport bike with an Ontario licence plate.
Halton Police describe the driver of the motorcycle as:
- male
- white
- approximately 20-35 years of age
- average height and a stocky build
- wearing a black helmet, black t-shirt, and blue jeans
