The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show four additional deaths in the totals. All four deaths appear to be Burlington residents, giving the city 150 total deaths. Oakville remains at 112 deaths total. Milton remains at 70 deaths total. Halton Hills remains at 68 deaths total. Halton is now at 400 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 156 new cases since Tuesday. The total number of cases is up to 53,058. There have been 1,406 total hospitalizations in Halton and 400 deaths.
In Milton, we had 25 new cases since Tuesday. That brings us to 13,968 total cases. There have been 327 total hospitalizations in Milton and 70 deaths.
There are currently three outbreak reported in Milton:
- Birkdale Place – Retirement Home – Entire Facility
- Allendale – Long Term Care Facility – Allen House
- Congregate Living 158 – No other details
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,383,783 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,232,203 of the doses were to Halton residents.
