The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show an additional death in the totals. The death appears to be a Milton resident, giving our town 68 deaths total. Oakville remains at 108 deaths total. Burlington remains at 144 deaths total. Halton Hills remains at 68 deaths total. Halton is now at 388 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 184 new cases since Friday. The total number of cases is up to 52,229. There have been 1,367 total hospitalizations in Halton and 388 deaths.
In Milton, we had 34 new cases since Friday. That brings us to 13,797 total cases. There have been 316 total hospitalizations in Milton and 68 deaths.
There are currently two outbreaks reported in Milton:
- Allendale Long Term Care Home – Adam’s House
- Birkdale Place – Retirement Home
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,371,462 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,221,044 of the doses were to Halton residents.

- 67,659 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
- 106,005 total doses have been administered to people aged 12-17;
- 108,803 total doses have been administered to people aged 18-24;
- 69,939 total doses have been administered to people aged 25-29;
