An Oakville man is nearly $4 million richer after getting that ‘6/49 feeling’.
John Sirman won $3,841,273 in the June 15th LOTTO 6/49 draw. He also won $5 on his ENCORE selection, bringing his total winnings to $3,841,278.
The father of two says this is definitely his biggest win yet. “My winning numbers were a combination of my wife and children’s birthdates,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.
The 72-year-old retiree said he was very surprised to discover his big win. “My wife was surprised too! It’s very nice.”
He plans to share his winnings with his children.
The winning ticket was purchased at Piggy Mart on Lakeshore Road in Oakville.
