The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show three additional deaths in the totals. Two of the deaths appear to be Burlington residents, giving the city 143 deaths total. The other was an Oakville resident, putting the town at 108 deaths total. Milton remains at 67 deaths total. Halton Hills remains at 68 deaths total. Halton is now at 386 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 178 new cases since Friday. The total number of cases is up to 51,554. There have been 1,349 total hospitalizations in Halton and 386 deaths.
In Milton, we had 36 new cases since Friday. That brings us to 13,684 total cases. There have been 313 total hospitalizations in Milton and 67 deaths.
There are currently two outbreaks reported in Milton:

Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,356,377 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,207,487 of the doses were to Halton residents.
