A Milton resident is feeling a little lucky lately.
Bayram Sorguc of Milton matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 15th LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000!
“This is my first win! I play the lottery every Tuesday and Friday,” Bayram, a construction worker, shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
The father of four boys said it was just a regular day when he discovered his big win. “I sat down on the sofa while having a coffee and I decided to check my numbers. I was so happy I couldn’t stop smiling!”
Bayram told his wife and brother the news about his big win. “My wife hesitated to believe me, but she was excited once she checked for herself,” he laughed. “I couldn’t be any happier.”
He plans to pay some bills with his winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Highway 400 North in King City.
