A series of non-partisan open houses will be held this month ahead of a vote for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.
A group of former Conservative Party of Canada Milton riding executives are hosting the open houses. The goal is to help Miltonians purchase or renew a membership so they can vote in the upcoming leadership contest.
Open houses will take place on Saturday, May 14th, 21st, and 28th, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Mattamy Boardroom of the Milton Education Village Innovation Centre at 555 Industrial Drive.
Executives at the open houses will help Miltonians purchase memberships online from the CPC website as well as answer any questions they may have about the Milton riding, the six individuals who are seeking the CPC leadership, and current CPC policy. The press release says the event is non-partisan in that the former executives will not be endorsing any of the CPC leadership candidates.
The deadline to purchase a CPC membership for the purposes of voting in the leadership race is midnight June 3rd, 2022. The leadership vote takes place on September 10th. Memberships cost $15 and are available online here.
