Junior hockey in Milton came to an end recently when the Menace lost to the Pickering Panthers.
It was a near picture-perfect season for the Menace, who saw themselves go from one of the worst teams in the league to one of the best in the span of a two-year pandemic.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League capped off its regular season with the year-end award winners being presented with their commemorative awards at Game 1 of the OJHL Nutrafarms Championship Series on Monday, May 2nd at at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto.
While no Menace players were award recipients this year, some Halton players (and one resident) did earn some hardware:

The best-of-seven series between Toronto and Pickering will determine the OJHL’s representative in the 2022 Centennial Cup presented by Tim Hortons in Estevan, Saskatchewan, from May 19th – 29th. All nine CJHL member league champions and the host team will participate in the national championship event. Regional championships will not be held this season.
