
The Pickering Panthers won the North-West Conference Championship last night, beating the Milton Menace 3-0 in the series.
The Menace found themselves down for the third time in the OJHL Playoffs as they lost 2-7 in Pickering on Wednesday.
Aidan Hughes started the scoring off for the Menace at the 7:42 mark in the first period with a power-play assisted by Ryan O Donnell.
A second score for Milton was made 0:35 seconds into the second period by Ryan Holmes, making it 2-0.
Pickering would score two goals shortly after in the second period, making it tied 2-2.
The Panthers made their mark in the third period, scoring five goals by 17:59, and winning the game 7-2.
Milton Menace goalie Ryan Dugas stopped 29 of 36 shots overall.
Congratulations to the Menace on another season.
