Home and business security systems are becoming more common.
South Simcoe Police launched their Security Camera Registry last year in an effort to solve crimes quicker by accessing footage from residents with outdoor cameras.
Crime Analyst Cliff Aguiar…
Aguiar says so far the program has been very successful, not only in solving crimes but also with finding missing persons.
He says registration is voluntary and the program is free.
