
Menace Warm-Up 2019
The Milton Menace managed to get three out of four points over the weekend.
The team faced the Georgetown Raiders at the Mould Masters Arena on Friday night. The game went into overtime with the Raiders getting the 4-3 win with a powerplay goal two minutes into the extra period. For the Menace: James Barbour, Jordan Stock and Thomas Gordon all scored. Carter Tahk stopped 28 of 32 shots.
Milton played again on Sunday. They took on the Markham Royals. The Menace jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, with Cole Semeniuk (assisted by Graydon White and Bradley Banach) and Jordan Stock (Ethan Sims and Tyler Amaral) scoring the goals.
The Royals then scored twice in the second period. John Mitchell was able to maintain the Menace lead after two, assisted by Banach and White.
Holden Rogers then scored late in the third period, locking in the 4-2 win for the Menace.
Ryan Dugas had a busy night – stopping 38 of 40 shots.
The Menace continue their road swing to finish the season as they take on the Oakville Blades on Saturday night. They then finish the season with a game against the Burlington Cougars.
Milton is 35-11-0-6 for 76 points in 52 games. They’re second in the West Division and fifth in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. They will head to the playoffs next month for the first time in franchise history.
