The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for two suspects following a robbery case at a Georgetown convenience store.
On Thursday, March 24th, officers responded to the Circle K convenience store at 10 Mountainview Road South in Georgetown for reports of an armed robbery. Just before 2:30 a.m. two suspects entered the store, approached an employee and demanded cash from the register. One of the suspects stated he had a gun, although no gun was observed. The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No physical injuries were sustained during the robbery. Police responded to the area; however, efforts to locate the suspects were unsuccessful.
The suspects are described by the HRPS as:
- Suspect 1 – Male/Black, mid 20s, 6″ tall, wearing a black jacket with a fur trimmed hood, black pants with neon yellow thick stripe
- Suspect 2 – Male/White, mid 20s, 5″11′ tall, wearing a gray jacket, and jeans
The same two suspects had entered the convenience store at roughly 2:20 a.m. and left, prior to returning to commit the robbery.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dash cam video of the area between 2:00 am and 2:45 am to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext 2416.
