Georgian College is inviting prospective students and their supporters to explore its programs and campuses during an Open House.
Everyone who RSVPs for the Open House will automatically be entered into a draw for $5,000 toward tuition. Attendees will also have the opportunity to apply to Georgian for free, with the college covering the $150 Ontario College Application Service application fee.
“The best way to learn about Georgian is to come experience it for yourself, whether you’re ready to apply or have no idea where to start,” says Kristy Linklater, Associate Director, Marketing and Recruitment at Georgian. “Open House is a fun, no-pressure environment where students and their supporters can explore at their own pace. We’re excited to welcome everyone to Open House to check out our innovative programs, spaces, student supports, and more, and how we can help you build a future you’re excited about.”
Visitors will be able to explore more than 130 programs, including new offerings in Medical Radiation Technology, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity Technician, Game – Art and Animation, and the Fundraising and Management graduate certificate.
The event will also provide opportunities to meet faculty and current students, tour labs and learning spaces, and learn about student services, including financial aid. Prospective students can also apply and accept an offer of admission during the event.
It’s happening on Saturday, November 14th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Georgian’s Barrie, Midland, Orangeville, and Owen Sound campuses. RSVP here.
Those unable to attend in person can explore Georgian through video tours of its campuses and residences or take part in a virtual Get to Know Georgian information session on December 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
