The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is inviting students, parents, guardians and community partners to provide feedback on seven board policies during its latest public consultation period.
The board says community input plays an important role in reviewing policies that guide its day-to-day operations and help support student achievement, well-being and positive experiences for students and staff.
The seven policies currently open for consultation are:
- Policy 2196 – Records and Information Management
- Policy 2380 – Child Care Facilities and Services
- Policy 4230 – School Safety Patrol Members
- Policy 4240 – Safe, Inclusive and Accepting Schools
- Policy 4250 – Progressive Discipline and Promoting Positive Student Behaviour
- Policy 4311 – Parent Involvement Committee
- Policy 3102 – Cyber Protection – New policy.
Residents and other members of the SCDSB community can review the policies and submit feedback here.
The consultation period closes December 4th.
