Have a broken lamp, clock or toaster sitting around?
Sustainable Milton invites you to bring it to their next Repair Café next month.
Skilled volunteers will be on hand to help you repair household items for free, promoting a more sustainable way to reduce waste. From bicycle tune-ups to fixing small appliances and electronics, the event encourages residents to try and repair before retiring their belongings.
To guarantee a repair time, residents are asked to register in advance, providing details of their item. Items requiring new parts may need a follow-up appointment at a future Repair Café.
It’s happening on Saturday, November 21st from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Milton Sports Centre, located at 605 Santa Maria Boulevard in Milton.
Reserve your spot here.
