Families with children starting Kindergarten in September 2027 can attend one of four upcoming Kindergarten Open Houses hosted by the Halton Catholic District School Board.
The sessions will provide a general overview of HCDSB’s play and inquiry-based Kindergarten program, while giving families an opportunity to meet HCDSB staff and Before & After School program representatives, tour a Kindergarten classroom and connect with other parents and community partners.
The full-day Kindergarten program is offered at all HCDSB elementary schools. The open houses are intended to provide general information about the program and are not specific to the schools hosting each event. Families will receive school-specific information in 2027 after registering their child at their designated home school.
The Burlington open house takes place Thursday, October 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Elementary School, located at 2222 Country Club Drive.
In Oakville, families can attend Thursday, October 22nd from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School, located at 145 Millbank Drive.
The Halton Hills open house is scheduled for Thursday, November 5th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Elementary School, located at 73 Miller Drive in Georgetown.
The Milton session takes place Thursday, November 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Elementary School, located at 390 Gordon Krantz Avenue.
