Milton's GO station building
Construction at Milton GO is continuing, with changes to where passengers board trains and temporary parking-area closures affecting commuters.
Beginning Monday, September 28th, the west end of the platform will be temporarily closed due to construction. Trains will then be available for boarding from the east end of the platform.
During this phase, platform asphalt will be repaired and platform safety features will be installed. The work is expected to be completed by late December, although the schedule may change due to unforeseen circumstances and weather conditions.
Passengers should continue to spread out along the platform, use available doors and follow announcements from Customer Service Ambassadors.
The station’s pick-up and drop-off area is also temporarily closed due to construction.
A temporary pick-up and drop-off area is available in the southwest parking lot, while carpool, accessibility and reserved parking have been relocated to the northeast parking lot.
This work is expected to be completed this month.
Further improvements are planned around Milton GO, including upgrades to the existing platform shelters and lighting. Commuters are encouraged to follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas throughout the work.
