A 34-year-old Milton man is facing multiple charges following a human trafficking investigation.
Toronto Police say the investigation began in June, and allege the accused used deception, coercion and control to traffic a woman for sexual services, with the money she earned allegedly being turned over to him.
Terrell Trench was arrested on August 26th. He faces 12 charges:
- Procuring
- Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services
- Trafficking in Persons
- Material Benefit from Sexual Services
- Financial/Material Benefit from Trafficking Person Over 18
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of Firearm Without Holding a Licence
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
- Careless Storage of Firearm/Weapon/Prohibited Device
- Careless Storage of Firearm/Weapon/Prohibited Device or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number Has Been Tampered With
- Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained by Crime/Exceeding $5000
Police believe there may be more victims.
