Halton police say the victim arranged to meet someone who expressed interest in buying the jewelry last Thursday (Aug. 13). When he met in the parking lot of Toronto Premium Outlets, there were three men. One of the suspects grabbed the jewelry from the victim and fled with the other two suspects in a dark-coloured pickup truck. The driver of the pickup had a firearm.
No physical injuries were reported.
The jewelry was valued at more than $5,000.
All three suspects are described as male, black, 20-30 years old. The first suspect, the driver of the pickup, is described as having a thin build, short hair, wearing a polo shirt. The second suspect had a thin build, medium length hair and short moustache and beard, wearing a white shirt and dark-coloured jeans. The third suspect had a thin build, no facial hair and was wearing a white shirt and shorts.
