The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is asking for help identifying three men believed to have entered an Oakville business on the day an Oakville man was found dead.
Police were called to Montagio Custom Tailoring at 145 Lakeshore Road East, Suite 301, at around 5:30 p.m. on March 22nd, 2025, after the body was discovered inside. Investigators with the Major Crime Bureau determined the death was a homicide and identified the victim as 43-year-old Baljeet “Bally” Toki.
Security video shows three men entering the building through an alleyway door at approximately 12:06 p.m. and leaving at about 1:39 p.m. Police say all three arrived and left in a black Kia Forte.
The suspects are described by the HRPS as:
- Male, white, slim build, over 6 foot tall with short hair. Wearing a grey sports/suit jacket, wearing darker coloured pants and white high top shoes. Carrying a gift bag with yellow tissue paper. *Of Note* – The male is also wearing a distinctive baseball style cap with a camouflage pattern on the back, with a solid dark coloured front containing a circular logo.
- Male, black, slim build, shorter than suspect #1, wearing a blue hoody, dark coloured pants, white shoes.
- Male, black, slim build, similar in height to suspect #2, wearing dark coloured clothing, black shoes with distinctive red laces, carrying a cross body bag containing a red stripe through the middle of the strap.
Anyone who can identify the suspects or has information about the homicide is asked to contact the HRPS Major Crime Bureau at 905-825-4776.

A suspicious death in Oakville is now being classified as a homicide case by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
43-year-old Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki of Oakville was found dead inside Montagio Custom Tailoring on Lakeshore Road.
There is no known threat to public safety.
The HRPS Major Crime Bureau is leading the investigation into his death and are urging anyone with information to come forward. HRPS officers are currently canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video between the times of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 22nd. Police are especially seeking video footage from the area between Trafalgar Road and Navy Street, north of William Street and south of Randall Street. They are also requesting anyone who was driving on Trafalgar Road between Lakeshore and Dundas Street, and may have dashcam video, to contact them.

A death in Oakville is being treated by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) as suspicious.
On Saturday, March 22nd, at roughly 5:30 p.m., officers were contacted after a dead man was located in a building in the area of Lakeshore Road East and Navy Street in Oakville.
Police have not made any arrests and do not have any suspect descriptions to provide.
Lakeshore Road East was closed between Navy Street and Thomas Street for the investigation on Sunday.
Anyone who may have dash cam footage of Lakeshore Road East between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. is asked to contact police.
