Milton's GO station building
Construction continues at Milton GO, with temporary changes to train boarding, parking and passenger drop-off areas as platform rehabilitation work progresses.
The east side of the platform is temporarily closed while crews modify and replace platform infrastructure to improve safety and accessibility. Passengers are currently boarding trains from the west side of the platform, and not all train doors will open at Milton GO.
Passengers travelling to Milton GO are advised to board at the accessibility ramp or east of it toward Bay Street. Riders may need to move through the train to a coach where doors will open and should listen for announcements from Customer Service Ambassadors.
The station building and washrooms remain accessible. The current platform construction phase is expected to be completed this month.
The station’s main pick-up and drop-off area is also temporarily closed. A temporary area is available in the southwest parking lot, while carpool, accessible and reserved parking have been relocated to the northeast parking lot. This work is expected to be completed next month.
Passengers are encouraged to allow additional time for parking and boarding, follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas.
Future work will include upgrades to the station’s platform shelters and lighting.
