All three suspects in an organized Greater Toronto Area (GTA) liquor trafficking operation have been sentenced.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says Parminder Sidhu, Rajinder Sidhu, and Navdeep Sidhu, all of North York, appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto on Wednesday, July 8th. Sentences were handed down by Justice Campitelli, ranging from a custodial term of imprisonment of two years less a day to periods of probation, and included the forfeiture of seized alcohol, two vehicles and over $120,000 in cash.
The HRPS conducted the four month investigation in partnership with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) and the Toronto Police Service last year. They accused the trio of distributing more than $1.3 million in stolen alcohol across the GTA.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), alongside the LCBO and Toronto Police, have taken down a large liquor trafficking network accused of distributing more than $1.3 million in stolen alcohol across the GTA.
The joint investigation originally launched in July. It identified multiple suspects linked to ten organized theft groups supplying stolen liquor that was then sold from a North York residence or delivered to buyers.
Officers executed search warrants on Thursday, November 20th, seizing about $120,000 in cash, three vehicles, and 126 bottles of whiskey. Police arrested three suspects:
- 52-year-old Parminder Sidhu of North York
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Participate in a Criminal Organization
- 56-year-old Rajinder Sidhu of North York
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Participate in a Criminal Organization
- 25-year-old Navdeep Sidhu of North York
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Participate in a Criminal Organization
All were released ahead of a Toronto court appearance.
