The Town of Milton is inviting registered candidates and residents considering a run in the 2026 Municipal Election to attend a virtual candidate information session later this month.
Topics will include candidate eligibility, the nomination process, campaign finances, fundraising and advertising rules, election sign regulations, voting methods, and key election dates.
Town of Milton staff, along with representatives from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, will provide information and answer participants’ questions.
The session will be held Wednesday, July 22nd, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Registration is required to attend the virtual session.
The deadline to file a nomination for the 2026 Municipal Election is August 21st at 2:00 p.m. Learn more here.
