First Student School Buses
Halton Student Transportation Services (HSTS) is giving families an early look at tentative student transportation information for the 2026-27 school year.
The HSTS Parent Portal will be open until Sunday, July 12th to allow parents and guardians to review their child’s preliminary transportation assignment.
The preview is intended to help families confirm that:
- their child has been assigned transportation, if eligible; and
- the assigned bus stop is in the correct location based on the student’s primary home address or eligible caregiver address.
HSTS notes that the preview is not intended for checking bus stop pickup or drop-off times, as routes and schedules remain subject to change while student information continues to be processed.
If the bus stop location is correct, no action is required.
Families who find an incorrect bus stop location, have recently moved, or believe an eligible student has not been assigned transportation are encouraged to contact HSTS by August 1st. The organization says requests received after that date may not be processed before the first day of school due to the expected volume of inquiries.
Final transportation schedules, including pickup and drop-off times, will be available through the Parent Portal beginning August 17th.
Parents whose children have been assigned transportation but do not require bus service are asked to complete the HSTS Opt Out form. Transportation can be reinstated during the school year by contacting the student’s school administration.
