Visitors to Mountsberg Conservation Area can get up close with two miniature horses during a new small-group experience offered on weekends throughout the summer.
The Mini Horse Walk gives participants the opportunity to meet Cleo and Gypsy, Mountsberg’s miniature horses, while learning about their daily care from conservation area staff.
During the 45-minute program, participants will brush the horses, watch staff demonstrate hoof care, and take the horses for a guided walk around the park.
The experience takes place on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. at Mountsberg Conservation Area.
The cost is $99 plus HST for a group of up to five people. Regular park admission is additional.
Participants must be at least six years old, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted during the experience.
Advance reservations are required. Visitors must first reserve admission to Mountsberg Conservation Area and then add the Mini Horse Walk to their visit. Learn more here.
