North Halton Hospice is inviting community members to a public meeting this week to provide an update on plans for a new 10-bed hospice residence in the region.
It will give residents an opportunity to learn more about the organization’s progress, upcoming campaign efforts, and the vision for expanding access to hospice care in North Halton.
According to North Halton Hospice, the proposed residence would provide compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to individuals and families in the community. It would be located at the current Hillcrest United Church location on Trafalgar Road in Halton Hills.
Attendees will also hear from representatives of architectural firm +VG Architects, who are expected to present details about the site plans and unveil new renderings of the proposed facility.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 25th at 6:30 p.m. at Norval United Church, located at 14015 Danby Road in Georgetown.
