100 Women Who Care Milton is getting ready for their third gathering of 2026.
The group gets together to listen to presentations from three local charities. They then vote and awards one charity with a donation from each member. Traditionally, the donation is $100 per member, but has been done on a ‘donate-what-you-can’ method since the pandemic.
In March, they chose Community Living North Halton as the awarded charity. $12,000 was given to the organization that helps “provides Support and Services to Children and Adults with Special Needs in Halton Hills and Milton.” Past recipients have attended the following event to share how the funds helped their organization.
On Wednesday, July 8th, 100 Women Who Care Milton will head to Springridge Farm, located at 7256 Bell School Line in Milton. Attendees are invited to show up at 5:30 p.m. for “shopping, treats, and social time at the pavilion/bakery.” The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
