The FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton has announced its 2026-27 season, featuring a diverse lineup of theatre, music, comedy and family entertainment.
Town officials say the new season is designed to offer something for audiences of all ages, with performances ranging from live magic and educational presentations to concerts and comedy shows.
“We’re excited to present a dynamic and engaging lineup for the 2026-27 season,” says Steve Palmer, Director of Recreation and Culture for the Town of Milton. “There’s something for every age and interest from captivating performances to family-friendly programming. A vibrant gathering place for arts and culture, the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton invites residents and visitors alike to come together, spark meaningful connections, and experience performances that bring Milton to life.”
Among the season highlights is Chris Funk – Redefining Wonder, which combines magic and music in a performance by the Canadian illusionist known for appearances on America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us.
The season will also feature Psychology of Cults, a live presentation led by cult interventionist Ashlen Hilliard. The show examines how cults form, why people become involved, and the challenges of leaving those environments through storytelling and real-life case studies.
Families can enjoy Erth’s Shark Dive, a live theatrical experience that uses puppetry to explore marine life from prehistoric creatures to modern ocean ecosystems. The production aims to entertain while encouraging audiences to think about ocean conservation.
Music fans can look forward to Gowan: 40th Anniversary Tour of Strange Animal. Canadian musician and Styx member Lawrence Gowan will celebrate the milestone anniversary of his breakthrough album with a special live performance.
Comedy also returns to the stage with Girls Nite Out, an all-female Canadian comedy troupe that has been entertaining audiences for more than two decades with a show focused on humour, relationships and everyday life.
