Teens can celebrate Pride Month with a creative take-and-make activity being offered by the Milton Public Library (MPL) throughout June.
The Pride Bracelets Take-and-Make program invites youth ages 11 to 17 to create a Pride flag-themed bracelet for themselves or a friend. Participants can pick up materials and instructions at any of the library’s three locations and complete the bracelet at home.
A variety of flag designs will be available, including Pride, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Pansexual, Asexual, Non-Binary and Transgender flags.
Organizers say the activity provides a fun and creative way for young people to celebrate Pride Month while expressing themselves and showing support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
The program runs through June 30th.
