The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating after shots were fired into an occupied home in Oakville early Friday morning.
Officers were called to a residence near Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive at around 7:35 a.m. on Friday, May 22nd, following reports of gunfire. Investigators determined multiple shots were fired into the home, which was occupied at the time. No injuries were reported.
It’s believed the shooting was targeted and say there is no known threat to public safety.
A dark coloured SUV was seen in the area at the time of the shooting and investigators are asking anyone with information on this investigation, or anyone who may have security or dash cam video from the area of Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
