Milton Town Hall
The Town of Milton is now accepting applications for the 2027 Milton Community Fund program, offering funding support to local not-for-profit organizations.
About $425,000 in funding is available for organizations delivering artistic, cultural and recreational programs, services and events that enhance quality of life in the community.
Town officials say the program helps strengthen community connections and support inclusive initiatives across Milton.
“The Milton Community Fund is an important grant program that brings people together and strengthens our community,” says Steve Palmer, Director of Recreation and Culture for the Town of Milton. “By supporting local organizations, the fund helps build lasting connections and contributes to making Milton a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.”
The Milton Community Fund was established by council in 2001 and has distributed more than $8.4 million to community organizations. In 2025, Milton council approved more than $536,000 in grants supporting 52 organizations.
Funding for the program comes from proceeds received through the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation related to Elements Casino Mohawk.
Applications will be accepted until July 27th, with funding decisions expected to be announced in January 2027. Details and submission forms are available here. Residents can also call 905-878-7252 ext. 2539 for more information.
