The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) has recognized dozens of outstanding students during its 38th Annual Student Awards of Excellence.
The ceremony took place April 23rd at Christ the King Catholic Secondary School, celebrating students from across Burlington, Milton, Georgetown, and Oakville.
Each year, the awards honour one student from every elementary and secondary school who demonstrates excellence in Catholic leadership, family commitment, and involvement in school and community life.
In addition to the main awards, the board also presented the Spirit of Inclusion Award to students who promote respect and belonging among their peers, as well as the Award of Excellence for Multilingual Learners, recognizing newcomer students for their perseverance in adapting to a new environment and language.
