Families are invited to celebrate Mother’s Day in the great outdoors at a special event hosted by Conservation Halton.
The “Mother, Nature” event will take place Sunday, May 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mountsberg Conservation Area, offering a full day of springtime activities designed to bring families together.
Visitors can explore scenic trails, visit farm animals, check out the Natural Playground, and stop by the Raptor Centre, while also taking part in optional add-on experiences. These include an afternoon tea picnic, yoga sessions for all skill levels, and a beeswax candle-making workshop.
“Mother, Nature is a wonderful way to celebrate mom while enjoying the outdoors,” says Craig Machan, Parks and Operations Director, noting the event is designed to offer both relaxation and hands-on experiences for all ages.
Admission is included with regular park entry, though reservations are required, and some activities come with an additional fee.
