A woman from Burlington is facing impaired driving charges after police were called to a business in Brantford last week.
According to Brantford Police, officers responded at around 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24th to reports of a female driver believed to be under the influence of alcohol on Paris Road.
Police located the driver and conducted an investigation, which led to her arrest. Breath samples later revealed a blood alcohol concentration of approximately 230 mg per 100 mL of blood, which is nearly three times the legal limit.
The accused, a 60-year-old Burlington woman, has been charged with operation while impaired.
Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
