
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects following a daytime robbery in Oakville.
According to the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), the incident occurred Wednesday, April 22nd at approximately 9:40 a.m. at Brother Deals on Wheels. Investigators say two male suspects entered the business, confronted three people inside and demanded valuables.
Police allege one suspect was armed with a handgun while the other brandished a machete. The suspects made off with a piece of jewelry and two cell phones before fleeing in a black Acura RDX, which was later determined to have been stolen out of Toronto. No physical injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as:
- Suspect #1 – Male, black, medium to heavy build, wearing a dark coloured zip up hooded jacket over a tan coloured hoodie, black cargo style pants, black athletic sneakers, gloves, and a black face covering. Carrying a small black satchel, holding a handgun.
- Suspect #2 – Male, slender to medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves, black and white patterned shoes, a red face covering, holding a machete.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or dashcam or surveillance footage from the area of Wyecroft Road and Dorval Drive around the time of the robbery to come forward.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation, including anyone who may have security or dash cam video from the area or Wyecroft Road and Dorval Drive around the time of the offence, is asked to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
