Several road closures are set to begin in Innisfil as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades tied to the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements project.
Starting Monday, May 4th at 6:00 a.m., the following roads will be closed to through traffic, with local access only:
- 9th Line (Kildare Avenue to Tall Tree Lane)
- Buchanan Street (9th Line to Crystal Beach Road)
- Bonsecour Crescent (Goodfellow Avenue loop)
- Goodfellow Avenue (Crystal Beach Road to the dead end)
The closures are expected to remain in place until the end of June, weather permitting.
The work includes the installation of a new trunk sanitary sewer and drainage improvements throughout the area. Construction on the project originally began in July 2025 before pausing for the winter season.
Residents are advised to plan ahead, follow posted signage, and use caution around construction zones while work is underway.
