Barrie Police have charged a man in connection with a historical sexual assault and is asking the public to come forward with information.
38-year-old Brice Bunn, also known as Brice Jacobs, was charged on Sunday, April 12th, with sexual assault and sexual interference. The charges relate to an incident in August 2014 at the former Spotlight Event Centre on Essa Road, where he was the owner and manager.
The investigation began in March after the victim, who was 15 at the time, reported the incident. Investigators allege the accused is also connected to two similar incidents at other local establishments where he worked as a manager.
Police believe there may be additional victims and emphasize that there is no statute of limitations for sexual offences. Anyone with information is urged to contact Barrie Police at 705-725-7025 or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
