Milton's GO station building
Construction work is impacting parking and boarding at Milton GO Station, with temporary changes now in place and more to come through the spring and summer.
A portion of the east parking lot is currently closed for concrete work, repaving, and curb installation, affecting 132 parking spaces. Commuters can still use remaining spaces in both the east and west lots, with accessible parking and station access unaffected. This phase of parking work is expected to wrap up soon.
Starting Monday, April 27th, platform rehabilitation will begin on the east side of the station. During this time, the east side of the platform will be closed, and passengers will need to board trains from the west side. Not all train doors will open, meaning riders may need to move through the train to find an accessible coach.
Customers travelling from Union Station or other stops on the Milton line are advised to board near the accessibility ramp or west of it to ensure they can exit at Milton.
Additional construction, including resurfacing the pick-up and drop-off area, parking lots, and platform, along with upgrades to shelters and lighting, is planned throughout the spring. Some of this work will continue into May, with the platform project expected to be completed by July.
Commuters are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time for parking and boarding, and follow posted signage while work is underway.
