A Burlington man is celebrating a big lottery win after claiming a $77,777 prize.
Philip T. won the top prize playing INSTANT DIAMOND 7s, marking his first major win after more than 30 years of playing lottery games with OLG.
The 70-year-old retiree says he discovered the win while playing his ticket and was surprised by the result.
“When I played my ticket and uncovered the top prize, I couldn’t believe it,” he says. “It was spectacular!”
Philip collected his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto and says he is considering investing the money and sharing it with his children.
His winning ticket was purchased at L & I Variety on Guelph Line in Burlington.
