A team from the Milton Curling Club is celebrating a provincial title after a strong showing at a recent championship event.
Club members Steve Oldford, Aleecia Brunberg, Pat Osborne, and Kim Roy captured the Ontario Senior Mixed Provincial Curling Championship recently at the Burlington Golf and Country Club. Team Oldford posted a 6-1 record in the round robin, earning a direct berth to the final, where they defeated Team Corbin from the Brant Curling Club to secure the title.
The Milton Curling Club plans to commemorate the achievement by raising a new banner in honour of the championship win.
