The Halton Hills Public Library has launched a new website aimed at improving digital access and enhancing how residents connect with library services.
Library officials say the updated website offers a more intuitive, mobile-friendly experience, making it easier for users to browse programs, search the catalogue, place holds, and book study rooms. The platform also integrates several digital tools introduced over the past year, including a new catalogue system, program calendar, study room booking platform, email communication system, and the HHPL mobile app, creating a more seamless and connected user experience.
“This new website is all about making it easier and more convenient for our community to connect with the library,” says Chief Librarian and CEO Beverley King. “By bringing our digital tools together in one place, we’re helping people find what they need, when they need it.”
The website also features a centralized Digital Library page, allowing users to access ebooks, audiobooks, research databases, and learning tools, while improvements to accessibility and design aim to enhance readability and navigation across devices.
