Stevenson Memorial Hospital is inviting the community to recognize outstanding nurses by submitting nominations for its Award of Excellence in Nursing.
The initiative, led by Stevenson Memorial Hospital, is part of Nursing Week 2026 and aims to highlight the vital role nurses play in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families.
Hospital officials say the award is designed to celebrate nurses who go above and beyond in their work, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those they care for. Community members are encouraged to share personal stories that reflect exceptional dedication, impactful care, and a commitment to patient well-being.
Eligible nominees include any Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who provided care at the hospital between April 2025 and April 2026.
Nominations must be submitted online by Monday, April 27th. A selection committee will review all submissions, with the recipient set to be recognized during Nursing Week, taking place Monday, May 11th – Sunday, May 17th.
