A man has been charged following a double stabbing in Oakville that left two people seriously injured.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says officers were called to a residence near Lakeshore Road West and Great Lakes Boulevard at around 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 29th.
When officers arrived, they located two victims suffering from stab wounds. Both were transported to hospital with serious but stable injuries.
Police arrested a 54-year-old Oakville man at the scene, who is now charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Investigators say there are no outstanding suspects. The identity of the accused has not been released in order to protect the victims.
