The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating an early morning shooting in Oakville that left one person in hospital.
Officers were called to the area of Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 29th, following reports of gunfire. One male was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and investigators believe the incident was targeted.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are asking residents and motorists to review dashcam footage recorded between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. in several areas, including Lakeshore Road, Fourth Line, Ford Drive, and Winston Churchill Boulevard, extending into Mississauga.
At this time, there are no suspect or vehicle descriptions available.
