The Milton Menace will now have to win four in a row in order to advance to the next round of the OJHL Playoffs.
They came into Game #3 against the Toronto Patriots on Tuesday, March 24th down 2-0 in the series. Read up on the first two games here.
Things started off even in this latest game, with both teams going scoreless in the first period. Milton even led in shots on goal, 11-9.
In the second period, the Patriots skill took over. They managed to tally three unanswered goals to go up 3-0 by the end of the frame.
Toronto would then add a fourth goal in the third period, making it a 4-0 shutout win over Milton.
Austin McKillop was back in net for the Menace, stopping 28 of 32 shots for a .875% save percentage and the loss.
With their backs now fully against the wall, Milton will now need to win four in a row to claim the series. That starts on Friday, March 27th with Game #4 taking place at the Milton Memorial Arena. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
